Our Management
Swarup Mukherjee
Swarup has over 21 years of experience in a variety of leadership positions. His truly multi-disciplinary work exposure encompasses a number of industries ranging across engineering / manufacturing, HR consulting, management education, and software. Beginning with a career in Sales and Marketing, Swarup in the course of his rich and varied career, has worked with leaders in the industry including ABC Consultants, and NIS Sparta Ltd.
In 1998, Swarup took over as an Executive Director & Head of Operations, responsible for the Asia Pacific region of Patsys Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of an US based software firm, SSI, headquartered at Boston, with International offices at Hamburg, Jakarta and Colombo.
Swarup gave up a rewarding and fast rising career in 2003 and turned an entrepreneur, when he started his own HR consulting firm Corporate Development & Consulting Group (CDCG).
Currently, Swarup is also on the board of Thinktank Management Services, a Gurgaon based HR consulting firm, which he co-founded in 2006.
Swarup provides leadership, vision, direction and strategic guidance to the various practice verticals and operations of Thinktank Management Services.
Swarup has Post Graduate qualification in Sales and Marketing.
Sugato Lahiry
Sugato‘s work experience in human resource management and leadership includes both public and private sector and manufacturing and service sector organizations.
During his HR career of 20 plus years, Sugato has worked with the IBP-Balmer Lawrie Group, Exide Industries and the Nicco Group. He has worked closely with business leaders in various different industry settings and environments and has designed, developed and led a variety of business-focused initiatives in the areas of L&D, OD, Performance Management and other Talent Management Systems.
Before joining the Board of Thinktank Management Services to start and lead the consulting practice, Sugato worked as Senior Vice President of HR Services with the HR consulting business of the Nicco Group, where he played a pivotal role in starting up, managing and leading the consulting business.
He writes regularly in both business and academic press in Indian as well as international journals and books, such as:

- Human Capital (India)
He is one of the contributing authors (on application of the four level evaluation model) in 'The Transfer of Learning to Behavior' By Donald Kirkpatrick & James Kirkpatrick (Berrett & Koehler, San Francisco, 2005).
Sugato was the winner of Annual OD Research Grant of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD).
He frequently speaks and presents papers at international seminars and conferences, such as Annual Conference of ASTD (New Orleans), International Federation of Training & Development Organizations (IFTDO) Conference (Cairo), and International Learning & Development Conference (Kuala Lumpur).
He has been a visiting faculty at XLRI, Jamshedpur, where he taught an elective course in the Post Graduate (PM & IR) Program, for several years.
Sugato holds a Postgraduate degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Delhi University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling and Guidance from NCERT. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in motivation research.
